Digital Content Specialist

The Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for supporting our external facing public website and assisting the Digital Experience team with projects. This role will design, source and coordinate graphics and content. Essential functions include managing, developing and coordinating digital content presented on CooperLighting.com. Actively participate and engage in the website build project. Collaborate with marketing, product brand and design teams to coordinate website content. Support Web Content Managers with sourcing content, filters, tagging, taxonomy, Product Manager collaboration, product data clean up, and discontinuances. Manage documentation, digital email shared database, and Usabilla feedback. Participate in Dev, Q/A, UAT and production testing/coordination and content migrations. Assist with digital tools support and requests as required. Generate weekly report out, record meeting notes, and attend meetings as requested. Strong project management skills to include effective communications, planning, time management, problem solving, and negotiation skills. Attitude skills to include adaptable/embraces change, passion for learning technology, shares and consumes ideas, curiosity for trying new things, not afraid to fail.

Specialized knowledge includes a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Graphic Design, Business or Marketing. 1 3 year experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator) required. 1 - 2 years of experience and proven proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite. Performance driven and results oriented; takes initiative and demonstrates follow through. Individual must be a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm for digital marketing. Detail-oriented, with strong planning, organizational and communication skills. Must have the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects with tight deadlines. Must be a self-starter with energy enthusiasm towards a team environment.
