Caregiver (Part-Time)

Position Overview

Senior Helpers of West Houston is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to join our growing team. In this part-time, on-site role, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life of our clients by providing personal care, companionship, and support with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other chronic conditions
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and basic cleaning
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and independent home environment
• Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience strongly preferred
• Experience providing personal care to seniors
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and chronic condition support preferred
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
• Ability to adapt to varying client needs and schedules
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• CPR Certification preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check

Schedule & Availability

We are currently hiring caregivers available for:

• Morning Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Afternoon/Evening Shift: 1:00 PM 8:00 PM
• Flexible availability is a plus.
