At Intersect Healthcare of Cedar Springs, we are committed to providing the finest in personalized care to our residents. Our 77-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for our residents to recover and thrive. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team!

Responsibilities:

Provide quality nursing care to residents, promoting their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality

Assist with daily living activities, such as grooming, bathing, and personal care

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided

Ensure a safe and clean environment, reporting any deficiencies to the Environment Plant Manager

Assist with orienting residents and their families to the nursing home and unit

Requirements:

Must hold a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or have completed a Michigan-approved CNA training program and be eligible to test. Must be certified within 4 months of hire.

One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or healthcare is desired.

Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
