CNC Operator IV, 1st Shift

Howmet Aerospace - 801 S Placienta Ave - Responsibilities: Analyze blueprints to determine dimensions and configuration of cuts; select cutting tools; set machine speeds and feeds; Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths; Write instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operation of machine; Write and revise CNC program instructions to regulate movement along cutting path; Operate CNC machines under guidance, perform setups with tooling fixtures and measurements; Monitor and troubleshoot CNC equipment in production; perform routine maintenance and assist in repairs; Assist training of other team members and maintain a safe, organized work area
