CNC Punch Operator II- 2nd Shift

Pay Range: $26.00 - $28.00

HOURS - 2nd shift is M-TH 3:00 PM -1:30 AM

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow direction provided by SOPs, Leads, Supervisors, and Engineers.

Conduct daily activities in a safe manner.

Operates CNC punch machine to manufacture non-ferrous parts, equipment, and other components from copper bars.

Prepares, sets up, and adjusts CNC machine as required by product plans and production schedules.

Measures and aligns materials to be used.

Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Performs routine maintenance on the machines.

Maintains a clean work area.

Maintains material certification logging.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate CNC controls.

Ability to follow instructions.

Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.

Basic computer and math skills

High school diploma or equivalent required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physically able to operate CNC machines.

Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

EXPERIENCE:

Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Machine Operator: 1 year (Preferred)

Compensation details: 26-28 Hourly Wage
