Commercial Frontload Driver (Opa Locka FL)

Waste Connections Company has an immediate opening for a Front Load Driver at our Hauling site in Opa Locka, FL. The position will be responsible for driving a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.

Pay Range: $25-30+/hr. DOE

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.

* Utilize electronic route sheets to ensure timely and efficient waste collection.

* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and the community.

* Perform a physically demanding job, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.

* Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements:

* Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

* 2+ years minimum commercial driving experience.

* At least 2 years of stable work history, with your most recent position being a CDL driver

* Able to lift 50+ pounds

* Clean driving record for the last 5 years

* Ability to operate a garbage truck safely and efficiently.

* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

* Excellent customer service skills.

* Ability to perform a physically demanding job, including lifting and loading waste.
