A well-regarded mid-sized NYC law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with approximately 4–7 years of experience to join its busy litigation practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney ready to take on a substantive, hands-on role across all stages of complex commercial disputes. The practice handles sophisticated, often high-stakes disputes for multinational corporations, growing businesses, start-ups, high-net-worth individuals, and other sophisticated clients. Representative matters have included major contract and fraud disputes, multidistrict antitrust litigation, and complex business litigation through trial and appeal.

Position details:

  • 4–7 years of commercial litigation experience
  • $160K–$180K+ base salary, with flexibility depending on experience
  • Annual discretionary bonus
  • 1,700–1,800 billable hour expectation
  • Hybrid schedule – four days in-office / Fridays remote

  • Partners take an active role in associate training and development

Representative Matters:

  • Successfully defended a prominent luxury consumer brand in a breach of contract and fraud action involving alleged lost sales.
  • Recovered approximately $1.7 million for an eDiscovery provider in connection with major multidistrict antitrust litigation.
  • Handled a complex international shipping-contract dispute through appeal, a favorable jury verdict, and a subsequent appeal.
  • Successfully defended a business owner at trial and on appeal against claims involving alleged misappropriation of corporate assets and funds.
  • Obtained dismissal of a successor-liability action arising from the acquisition of an operating business.
