A top Long Island based law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 6+ years of broad-based experience handling sophisticated real estate and commercial matters.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The firm also offers a competitive benefits package.

Experience includes:

Commercial Lending and Finance

• Representing lenders and borrowers in commercial transactions, including real estate financing, construction financing, mezzanine financing, debt restructurings, and the purchase and sale of the same.

Commercial Real Estate Transactions

• Representing real estate professionals, developers, and investors in the purchase, sale, construction, and development of commercial buildings, industrial facilities, shopping centers, hotels, and multifamily housing located throughout the United States, including through 1031 exchanges.

Real Estate Joint Ventures

• Representing both sponsors and investors in real estate joint ventures.

Leasing

• Well-versed in leasing and representing both landlords and tenants in negotiating leases, net leases, and ground leases for retail, commercial, and industrial space, parking garage leasing, office leasing, and big box leasing.
