Salary Range: $323,000 - $440,000 per year
The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Section of Comprehensive Gynecology, seeks full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to two years. Appointees will devote their clinical effort to outpatient gynecologic care at UChicago Medicine practices in Northbrook and River East and Labor & Delivery on-call services at our Hyde Park campus.
Appointees will provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic care including (but not limited to) abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, menopause-related care, contraception, cervical dysplasia, vulvovaginal disorders, sexual health concerns, and other complex benign gynecologic issues.

These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent on qualifications and experience. These positions are benefits eligible. Clinical responsibilities will include providing comprehensive gynecologic care in the ambulatory setting, participating in Labor & Delivery on-call duties in Hyde Park, performing office-based gynecologic procedures, including endometrial biopsy, colposcopy, cervical and endometrial procedures, intrauterine device and contraceptive implant insertion and removal, vulvar biopsy and other minor procedures and performing common outpatient surgical procedures. Additionally, appointees will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated evidence-based care.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified individuals must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the States of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
