Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job
Apply NowBecome a vital part of a hospital team in Macon, GA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to deliver high-quality imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department populations. This role supports a Level 1 trauma, teaching hospital with chest pain and stroke center designations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 4 years CT technologist experience required.
- Experience with IV starts required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
- Experience with Philips PACS and GE CT scanners preferred.
- Must be able to work in inpatient and emergency department settings; floating to inpatient and ER as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Level 1 trauma center or teaching hospital environment preferred.
- Prior tenure at high-volume departments (approx. 100 patients/day) preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- Shift days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- Orientation: 1 day departmental; New Employee Orientation provided.
- Schedule cycle: 13 weeks.
- Holiday expectation: work holidays that fall during contract.
- Parking: deck parking available for a fee.
- Department scrub color: black.
