Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Charleston, SC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to perform CT and emergency department radiographic examinations. The role requires adherence to department policies and collaboration with clinical staff to support patient care.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years CT technologist experience.
  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program or equivalent.
  • Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required.
  • SCRQSA certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Experience performing ED CT and general radiology examinations.
  • Experience with GE Optima CT systems or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience using Meditech documentation system preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hospital or emergency department radiology experience preferred.
  • Ability to work holiday requirements and participate in on-call rotations preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 07:00–19:30.
  • Scheduling requirements include Friday through Sunday coverage from 19:00–07:30 (overnight) with two call shifts per month and holiday coverage requirements.
  • Unit staffing: one radiology/CT technologist per 12.5-hour shift.
  • Equipment: GE Optima 660 CT and GE Proteus x-ray.
  • Documentation system: Meditech.
  • Potential to rotate to other shifts based upon staffing needs.
