Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Myrtle Beach, SC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to perform ED and inpatient CT exams. The role requires adherence to a compassionate care model and the department’s documentation standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current ARRT Radiography certification required. CT certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of CT experience in a Level 1 trauma setting required.
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice) independently.
• Advanced skills to perform routine CT exams for ED and inpatient populations, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience documenting in Meditech preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume hospital setting (approximately 180 CT exams per day across three scanners) preferred.
• Experience working with trauma protocols and emergency department workflows preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–0700.
• Performs ED and inpatient CT exams only.
• Required uniform color: charcoal grey.
