Become a vital part of the care team as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. This role requires independent performance of routine CT procedures and collaboration with ancillary staff and fellow technologists.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited CT program.
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current IEMA certification.
  • Competent in routine CT procedures including chest, abdomen/pelvis, PE protocols, brain and head imaging.
  • Experience performing portable CT exams in ED and inpatient units.
  • Experience with GE CT systems (Revolution, HD750, LightSpeed) preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a Level I Trauma Center environment.
  • Willingness to complete a facility orientation (24–40 hours on unit).
  • Minimum experience: facility will accept candidates with 1 year of CT experience; first-time travelers considered upon review.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma Center or Primary Stroke Center.
  • Familiarity with GE PACS and high-volume settings (approximately 10–12 exams per 8-hour shift).


Assignment Details

  • Shift pattern: 4x10s.
  • Standard hours per week: 40.
  • Orientation: general facility onboarding plus 24–40 hour unit orientation.
  • Holiday expectations: varies.
  • Scrub color: professional attire acceptable; department color is Caribbean Blue.
  • Free parking provided.
  • No floating to other facilities.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide diagnostic imaging services that support acute care, stroke, neonatal, and trauma populations. You will contribute to timely diagnoses in a hospital with ACR accreditations for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. EPIC experience is preferred to support documentation and coordination with 24/7 respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage.
