Opportunity Overview

A highly regarded Southern California health system is seeking an experienced Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a distinctive Primary Care 365-style practice model built around smaller patient panels, greater accessibility, and deeper long-term physician-patient relationships.

This is a highly personalized approach to Primary Care that incorporates many of the qualities physicians and patients value in concierge-style medicine, more time together, greater continuity, proactive communication, and enhanced access, while remaining supported by the resources and infrastructure of a major health system.

The Practice Model

The model is designed for physicians who want to move away from traditional high-volume Primary Care and practice in a more relationship-driven environment.

Physicians can:

• Manage a significantly smaller patient panel than in a traditional Primary Care setting

• Spend more meaningful time with each patient

• Build deeper, long-term relationships

• Provide highly responsive follow-up and communication

• Focus more heavily on preventive, proactive, and individualized care

• Maintain greater accessibility through phone, electronic communication, and patient portal interaction

• Practice with the clinical resources and operational support of an established health system

Ideal Candidate

The strongest candidate will be an established Primary Care physician with significant experience in day-to-day, office-based outpatient medicine and a history of managing a longitudinal patient panel.

Key qualifications include:

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Minimum 5 years of post-training clinical practice

• Strong background in traditional outpatient Primary Care

• Experience developing long-term relationships with an established patient panel

• Excellent patient satisfaction and bedside manner

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A naturally personable, relationship-oriented approach to medicine

• Comfortable providing the enhanced accessibility and responsiveness associated with a hightouch Primary Care model

• Willingness to relocate to Southern California and practice onsite full-time
