Procurement Specialist for Information Technology

Summary

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Boston or New York (2-3 days on-site)

Responsibilities

Possess strong procurement and commercial contracting experience, with a specialized focus on the Information Technology sector, preferably in telecommunications.

Procure SaaS, IT infrastructure, platforms, and software licensing, with a preference for network infrastructure and telecom managed services.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of key contract terms, varied pricing models, and performance metrics associated with these services.

Draft, negotiate, and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including crafting detailed, custom SLAs and conducting regular reviews to ensure alignment with business needs and industry standards.

Requirements

Deep understanding of technology procurement contracts, including SaaS and on-premises solutions, with a preference for telecommunications infrastructures.

Ability to work independently and flexibly while navigating within policies and procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including managing internal and external relationships.

Knowledge of contract management tools and ability to learn new tools and solutions for the contract management life cycle.

Experienced in negotiating business terms, including pricing.

Proficient in extracting, summarizing, and simplifying complex information from contracts for management and stakeholders.
