Coordinator Robotics Programs

Holds a valid Kentucky teaching certificate. Is a current certified staff member of Boone County Schools. Working knowledge of FIRST and robotics competitions preferred.

Reports to: Principal

Job goal: Provide support to school-based robotics programs.

Performance responsibilities:

• Recruitment of financial sponsors
• Promotion of program within each high school
• Recruit industry mentors to assist
• Plan meeting dates for the construction of robots
• Communicate regularly with appropriate staff and students about the robotics program
• Plan and coordinate supervision for meeting dates
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records as required
• Prepare and submit entrance paperwork for competitions
• Work with the Finance Department to maintain financial records for the program
• Oversee students' work in design, marketing, public speaking, etc.
• Provide publicity regarding the program

Terms of employment: Stipend. Up to 12 months. Board approved: 11/14/2013
