In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of incarcerated individuals through structured therapeutic recreation programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to promote rehabilitation, resilience, and positive behavioral change within a secure environment-all with a competitive compensation package.Responsibilities: * Plan, organize, and lead therapeutic recreation programs that address the emotional, social, and physical needs of inmates. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. * Conduct assessments to determine inmate interests, abilities, and therapeutic needs. * Facilitate group and individual recreational therapy sessions focused on coping skills, stress management, social interaction, and leisure education. * Document all treatment sessions, assessments, and progress notes in accordance with facility and CDCR guidelines. * Participate in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) meetings and contribute to comprehensive inmate care planning. * Support inmate transitions and pre-release preparation by promoting healthy recreation and community reentry skills. * Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to all California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) regulations, policies, and procedures.Nightingale's List Job ID #ZR_219_JOB.
