CRANE OPERATOR

Duties

You will operate various hydraulic boom cranes to load, unload, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.

You will make critical decisions regarding clearance requirements and recognize dangerous load situations to ensure safe operations.

You will apply your skills in using crane controls to make rapid judgments about lifting capacity, often in areas with restricted maneuverability.

You will ensure safety and housekeeping rules are followed, use personal protective equipment, and work in accordance with all required directives and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

You will complete the Operator's Daily Checklist (ODCL) to document pre- and post-crane inspections.
