Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Diploma completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Diploma of Nursing.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Unit Details: The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit provides cardiovascular recovery and intensive care. CVICU RNs are highly proficient in pre-operative support as well as immediate post-operative recovery of cardiovascular procedures, including open-heart surgery, heart transplants, ventricular assist device implantation, and various interventional and structural heart procedures. Acute cardiology and heart failure patients receive care in the CVICU; these high-acuity patients are often managed on inotropic support or temporary left and right ventricular devices. CVICU nurses care for patients with Impellas, IABPs, ECMO, C-Mag and, in the near future, Total Artificial Hearts. Staff manage all types of invasive lines, medications, hemodynamic needs, continuous dialysis and ultrafiltration machines, and various permanent and temporary ventricular assist devices.

Floating Requirements: The ICU float pool includes MICU, SICU, and CVICU, as well as other departments where the clinician is competent based on need, including med-surg and stepdown.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
