Overview The NCH Rooney Heart Institute is seeking a board-certified Critical Care Physician to join a team of medical experts providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a 14-bed closed Cardiac CVICU. The ideal candidate will manage critically ill cardiac patients in a dynamic, collaborative environment with dedicated advanced practice provider (APP) support. Nights - Cardiovascular Critical Care
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to high-acuity cardiovascular patients (post-op, shock, mechanical circulatory support).
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and intensivists.
Participate in academic activities, including mentoring or teaching, if applicable.
Utilize EPIC electronic medical records.
Qualifications Education: MD or DO medical degree.
Board Certification: Required in Critical Care Medicine (Cardiovascular Critical Care experience preferred).
Licensure: Active FL license (or ability to secure).
Experience: Fellowship training in critical care (cardiovascualr critical care preferred) or equivalent high-acuity experience

Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (approx. 24 weeks per year)
