What You'll Do
- Perform CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Administer IV contrast safely and effectively, monitoring patients for reactions and responding appropriately
- Ensure optimal image quality through proper patient positioning, protocol selection, and equipment operation
- Follow radiation safety (ALARA) principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
- Support imaging needs across ER, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings
- Assist with general radiography exams as needed to support workflow
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to HIPAA, contrast safety, and hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement, equipment maintenance awareness, and department readiness
- Assist in training and onboarding new staff as applicable
- Stay current with continuing education and CT advancements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- Valid Illinois Radiology license
- CPR/AED certification required
- Experience with CT imaging, protocols, and contrast administration
- Willingness and ability to perform both CT and general X-ray exams as needed
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, patient-centered approach
- Ability to adapt and contribute in a small, fast-paced environment

- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and move between tasks
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively in person and by phone
- Ability to perform fine motor tasks (computer work, documentation, equipment operation)
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, crouch, and reach as needed
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds; push/pull equipment and carts

Compensation details: 34-45 Hourly Wage
