Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Position: Technical Program Manager (TPM) Location: Cockeysville, Maryland - 100% REMOTE Duration: Long-term Contract On W2 Contract Need Heavy Cyber Security Candidates Hiring Manager Notes: Manager has given feedback on ALL submitted candidates. Need candidates NOT from a heavily regulated background (FinTech/Gov/Healthcare) - show candidates with heavy Cyber Security in a E-Comm/Commercial/Consumer industry Experience.

Cybersecurity Threat Management Function

Support coordination and workflow across cybersecurity teams, especially where technical fixes require cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Management Focus: 100% program management (not hands-on technical work).
• Support for Two Core Teams:
• Penetration Testing & Red Team: Emulates adversaries to identify vulnerabilities.
• Insider Threat Program: Requires alignment across Legal, Privacy, HR, IT, and Engineering.

Project Oversight:

• Immediate need to manage findings and remediation processes from the red team.
• Help launch and structure the insider threat program.
• Assist with smaller 36 month projects across cybersecurity functions.
• Operational Model Development: Help standardize documentation and charters across the program.

Required Skills & Attributes:

• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Foundational understanding required; not necessarily deep expertise.
• Influence & Authority: Must be able to speak with confidence and guide stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Strong ability to bring diverse teams together.
• Drive & Accountability: Ensure commitments are met and outcomes are achieved.
• Adaptability: Must thrive in an environment that goes beyond regulatory compliance and requires creative problem-solving.
