Job Description

Job duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and providing orientation and training. Communication skills are essential, including the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Essential functions and skills include mathematical abilities, motor coordination, and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work conditions involve exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, in-store temperature fluctuations, fumes, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing abilities include talking, hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone and with others, working under stress, meeting quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, making judgments and decisions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks. Machines, tools, and equipment used include pencil/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
