Delivery Driver

Delivery at Commonplace Kitchen is an essential function, transporting the hard work that happens each day in our kitchen to coffee shops and wholesale guests.This position is expected to range from 28-32 hours per week. This position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Personal transportation is required to get to and from the work location. Essential FunctionsMaintain high quality and consistent product standards.Ability to drive confidently in Western Pennsylvanias weather conditions.Maintain a clean work environment.Follow order forms and SOPs to deliver pre-packed goods to correct locations.Attention to detail and consideration of product composition to ensure all delivered products meet our quality standards (no one likes a squished muffin!)Time management skills to ensure items arrive at a consistent time to coffee shops and wholesale clients.Knowledge of ServSafe standards for cleaning and sanitation tasks.Ability to work independently and make decisions.Support a positive work environment.Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager and supervisors.Communicate with team members and management to solve problems.QualificationsAbility to drive and clean driving record.Strong attention to detail and respect for cleanliness and sanitation.High integrity and personal responsibility.Openness to constructive criticism and constantly striving to improve.Ability to multi-task with ease and problem solve under challenging conditions.Ability to perform basic math calculations.Physical DemandsSit, stand, and walk must be able to sit for 4-8 hour shifts and move about the delivery locations.Perform repetitive tasks must be able to complete repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and forearms.Taste and smell must be able to detect and perceive smells.Oral communication must be able to clearly and effectively communicate with customers and team members.Carry weight, lift must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.Work EnvironmentIn-person: Work is performed in a company vehicle and involves driving to various locations throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area.The work environment can be noisy, hot, or cold.This job involves maneuvering obstacles and working closely with other individuals in environments with limited space.This job involves being able to work independently.
