This is a four to five day a week Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00am until 6:00pm. We are welcoming both New Grads or Experienced./ppDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/pulliAssists patients in completing forms, answering their questions and giving directions to patients as authorized by the dentist or hygienist./liliServes as the dental providers chair-side assistant./liliPrepares operatories for patient treatment as per the dental providers directions./liliSets up, takes and confirms that dental radiographs are accurate as ordered./liliPlaces varnishes as ordered and directed./liliFollows OSHA infection control guidelines and RFD infection control policies and procedures./liliMaintains dental equipment and areas in accordance with manufacturers directions and Dental Department policy and protocol./liliMaintains adequate operatory supplies and compiles a list of individual item shortages for inventory control and ordering purposes./liliAssists dental providers in assuring that all patient records and documents are properly and accurately completed and filed./liliAssists with various clinical and administrative functions as appropriate./liliEnsures the proper disposal of all materials in accordance with Dental Department directive, center policy, as well as state and federal regulation(s)./liliOther duties as assigned and requested./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliHigh School diploma or GED required./liliCertificate of completion from an accredited course in dental assisting with completed internship./liliBilingual English/Spanish proficiency required./liliCalifornia Radiation Safety Certificate./liliCurrent BLS (CPR) Certification./liliExceptional customer service skills./liliBenefits: Medical after 90 Days/li/ulpA-Team Dental Staffing LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment./p/div
