# Comprehensive Clinical Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide chair-side support during dental exams and treatments, take diagnostic X-rays, and guide patients on proper oral hygiene. You will also oversee instrument sterilization, manage patient charting, and assist with receptionist tasks when needed.
# Ideal Qualifications & Experience
We welcome applicants with an MD X-ray certification and active licensure. Candidates with 2+ years of experience, bilingual Spanish skills, Denticon software proficiency, or sedation dentistry experience are highly valued.

Job Description

Overview: My Kids Dental Center is seeking an active X-ray certified and licensed Dental Assistant to join our dedicated pediatric dental team in Silver Spring, MD.
Chairside Assistance: Provide high-quality chair-side assistance to the dentist during various dental examinations and clinical treatment procedures.
Patient Care & Hygiene: Perform dental X-rays, educate patients and guardians on effective oral hygiene practices, and assist with sedation dentistry.
Clinical Operations: Manage accurate patient charting, maintain detailed treatment notes, and ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols.
Instrument Sterilization: Sterilize, prepare, and maintain dental instruments and clinical equipment in compliance with aseptic healthcare standards.
Administrative Support: Perform dental receptionist duties as needed, utilize Denticon software, and deliver outstanding customer service to families.
