Dental Assistant / RDA Private Dental Office Walnut Creek, CA $28$35/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

We are an established, small private dental office in Walnut Creek looking for an experienced Dental Assistant or RDA to join our team. We are looking for someone with at least 23 years of dental assisting experience who is dependable, positive, organized, and able to adapt to the systems and workflow of our office. We value experience, but we also want someone who is flexible, willing to learn, and enjoys being part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Chairside assisting for general and restorative dentistry
• Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
• Sterilization and infection control
• Digital X-rays
• Maintaining clinical supplies and ordering inventory
• Keeping treatment areas organized and well stocked
• Helping maintain efficient patient flow
• Providing professional and friendly patient care
• Supporting other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 23 years of dental assisting experience
• DA or RDA welcome
• Strong chairside assisting skills
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and professional
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Professional reference from a previous dental employer required

Experience with the following is a plus, but not required:

• Open Dental
• CEREC
• Intraoral / 3-D scanning
• Digital dentistry
• Front-office duties such as scheduling, phones, insurance, and patient communication

Compensation: $28$35 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and RDA status.
