Baird & Baird Family Dentistry is looking for a friendly, professional, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team! We are a patient-focused practice dedicated to providing excellent dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Location: 4595 Towne Lake Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30189 Schedule: MondayThursday, 7:30 AM5:00 PM Lunch: 1:002:00 PM Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Qualifications
- 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred
- Professional, friendly, and compassionate
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office
- Able to multitask while maintaining excellent patient care and safety
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with examinations, treatment, and procedures
- Prepare and break down operatories
- Take X-rays and digital impressions/scans as permitted by state regulations
- Assist with restorative procedures, crowns, bridges, fillings, extractions, and other procedures
- Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
- Prepare patients and provide a comfortable, positive experience
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Organize instruments, supplies, and equipment and monitor inventory
- Provide postoperative instructions as directed
- Assist with patient education and other clinical duties as needed
