Dental Assistant

Duties

Assist Dentist in providing treatment to patients.

Prepare patients for surgery.

Capture diagnostic dental radiographs.

Record patient information in electronic health record.

Schedule/cancel appointments for treatment.

Adhere to necessary aseptic precautions throughout treatment.

Assist dentist with simple and complex procedures such as tooth removal.

Provide oral hygiene instruction for care of prosthodontic appliances.

Maintain dental equipment and clean treatment areas.
