Work in close collaboration with the project management team. Specifically, manage the design contract on design-build projects.

Prepare and monitor project design budget and schedules.

Provide oversight and supervision over the technical work of the design team.

Lead and foster collaboration between design and construction teams.

Review construction plans and specifications for compliance with contract requirements as the design is developed.

Coordinate project designs with federal, state, and local agencies, utility companies, regulatory/approval agencies, and other third-party stakeholders.

Resolve design issues, in collaboration with design and construction teams, as they arise.

Assist in the preparation of design-build proposals.

Qualifications

Experience

Required: 15 years: Experience in heavy construction with at least five years as a Design-Build manager. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York.
