Luxury Senior Living Communities in Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead is looking for a Dietary Supervisor for its Palace Renaissance & Royale Assisted Living & Catered Living Community located at 11355 SW 84th Street Miami, FL 33173. This position is CARF Accredited and rated #1 in the US of all communities surveyed by CARF, 2016.

The #1 priority of this position is to assist the Director of Food Services in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory control.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Scheduling and supervising dining room waiters and waitresses.
• Assist with orientation and training of new waiters and waitresses.
• Maintain standards for safety, sanitation, storage of food supplies and banquet supplies.
• Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.
• Ability to promote and execute our culture of "Yes".

Qualifications include:

• High school degree or equivalent (GED).
• Experience in food service and in supervising dining room staff.
• Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.
