Direct Support Professional

Parkesburg PA 19365 Job Summary:

Compensation rate: up to $20/h DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
• At least 3 years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs)
• Valid driver's license

We are looking for caring, compassionate, and energetic DSPs to provide supportive living to individuals in assisting them in daily living and personal care services. Responsibilities:

• Assist with day to day tasks
• Transport and accompany individuals to doctor appointments or community outings.
• Administer simple prescribed medications (if certified)
• Assist individuals with personal care.
• Log individuals provided services
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
