Financial Operations Director

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Operations Director to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $175,000 to $180,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with plant management to support operational efficiency and profitability
• Create and enforce financial controls over manufacturing processes and inventory
• Implement daily and weekly material cost reporting and labor usage analysis
• Develop and maintain accurate costing methodologies and customer pricing models
• Lead and coach the financial operations team while promoting continuous improvement

Requirements

• Understand written procedures and apply detailed notes to perform tasks consistently
• Demonstrate strong written communication skills in financial reporting and team leadership
• Solve operational and financial issues using analytical thinking and cross-functional collaboration
• Use ERP systems and reporting tools with intermediate proficiency
• Perform advanced accounting tasks with strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 7+ years of progressive experience
• 3+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Leadership experience in managing teams and implementing financial policies
• MBA or CPA certification and experience in beef manufacturing
• Demonstrate technical aptitude and ability to support a fast-paced, dynamic business
