Job Description

About RDG

Redwood Digital Group, Inc. (“RDG”), founded in 2017, is a discretionary macro-crypto investment manager serving accredited and institutional investors. RDG combines fundamental market judgment with a structured investment process and risk management.

Investors access RDG’s strategy through a U.S. fund, a Cayman feeder, and a Luxembourg-based tracker certificate. We are hiring a hands-on capital formation professional to expand our investor base and build a disciplined fundraising process.

The Opportunity

Your primary responsibility is to raise capital and develop lasting investor relationships.

You will generate opportunities through your own relevant relationships and manage introductions provided by RDG’s leadership and equity partners. You will own the process from initial contact through qualification, due diligence, subscription, and ongoing investor service.

This role reports directly to the CEO & Managing Partner. It suits someone who has personally helped secure investment allocations, can work independently in a small firm, and is comfortable discussing the opportunities and risks of a crypto investment strategy.

Responsibilities

Capital Formation

  • Develop and execute a focused fundraising plan with RDG’s leadership, including target investor segments, allocation sizes, priorities, and milestones.
  • Originate opportunities among family offices, qualified high-net-worth investors, registered investment advisers, and other relevant allocators.
  • Take ownership of introductions from RDG’s leadership and equity partners, ensuring prompt outreach, consistent follow-up, and clear next steps.
  • Qualify prospects by investment capacity, strategy fit, eligibility, decision-making process, and allocation timing.
  • Lead investor meetings and coordinate due diligence through subscription, involving the CEO and service providers as needed.
  • Develop relationships with relevant distribution partners and introducers.
  • Attend targeted investor meetings and industry events with defined objectives and follow-up plans.

Pipeline Management

  • Own RDG’s CRM and maintain accurate records of prospects, potential allocations, meeting notes, objections, and next actions.
  • Run a weekly pipeline review with leadership, identifying progress, stalled opportunities, and decisions needed.
  • Report separately on early interest, active diligence, commitments, and funded subscriptions.
  • Track conversion rates and sales cycles to improve the fundraising process.

Investor Relations and Materials

  • Serve as a primary relationship contact for prospective and existing investors.
  • Coordinate investor questions, onboarding, and ongoing communications with the CEO, fund administrator, and other service providers.
  • Help improve presentations, fact sheets, and due-diligence materials based on investor feedback.
  • Explain RDG’s strategy, performance, risks, liquidity, and investment structures clearly and accurately.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance resources before using new or materially revised marketing materials.

Required Experience

  1. At least five years of relevant experience in private-fund fundraising, alternative-investment distribution, or a comparable investment sales role.
  2. A demonstrable record of personally contributing to completed investment allocations, with the ability to explain capital raised, investor types, typical allocation sizes, sales cycles, and your specific role.
  3. Active relationships with investors or intermediaries relevant to RDG’s strategy.
  4. Established network among family offices, RIAs, institutional allocators, or qualified high-net-worth investors.
  5. Experience managing prospects from introduction through due diligence and investment.
  6. The ability to discuss investment performance and risk credibly, including periods of losses.
  7. Strong written communication, presentation, follow-up, and CRM discipline.
  8. The ability to work independently in a small, entrepreneurial organization.

Candidates should be able to provide professional references who can verify their fundraising contribution. Experience in investor service or meeting coordination alone will not satisfy the fundraising requirement.

Preferred Experience

  1. Fundraising for hedge funds, digital-asset strategies, or other liquid alternative investments.
  2. Familiarity with U.S. and offshore private-fund structures.
  3. Experience working with investment platforms and distribution partners.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, you will be expected to:

- Develop a thorough understanding of RDG’s strategy, investment vehicles, investor materials, and subscription process.

- Establish a prioritized fundraising plan and consolidate existing prospects and leadership introductions into a reliable pipeline.

- Generate qualified opportunities through your own relationships and RDG’s network.

- Advance suitable prospects toward due diligence and subscription.

- Provide clear reporting on progress, investor objections, expected timing, and support needed.

Fundraising objectives will be agreed with leadership. Performance will be assessed on capital raised, the quality and progression of qualified opportunities, and effective investor relationship management.

Compensation

The position includes a base salary, benefits, and eligibility for participation in RDG’s long-term Growth Pool, subject to its governing documents and individual agreement.

Compensation reflects overall contribution across capital formation, investor relationships, execution, and long-term firm growth. This is not a commission-only or finder role. Compensation details and Growth Pool terms will be discussed early in the interview process.

Location and Travel

Miami or New York is preferred. Candidates based elsewhere in the United States will be considered where their investor relationships and experience support the role. Working arrangements will be agreed based on location.

Travel is required for investor meetings, due diligence, and selected industry events.

How to Apply

Please submit your résumé and a brief summary covering:

- The investment strategies for which you have raised capital.

- Your personal fundraising contribution, including approximate amounts, typical allocation sizes, and investor types.

- The investor segments and geographic markets where you have active relationships.

- Your location and availability.

Do not include confidential investor names or proprietary client lists.
