Director of Marketing & Demand Generation

Lead B2B marketing from strategy through execution, with a clear focus on demand generation, sales alignment, and revenue impact.

The Director of Marketing & Demand Generation will lead integrated marketing for an B2B industrial manufacturer, owning strategy and budget while partnering closely with sales and executive leadership to drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone who can operate at both the strategic and executional level, setting the marketing roadmap while staying close enough to the work to drive growth, sharpen positioning and improve marketing operations. Location: Northwest Twin Cities Metro, Minnesota Work Environment: Onsite opportunity 4x/week, full-time office-based, approx 15% travel Salary range: $115k-$140k Benefits: Competitive benefits package; specific benefit details will be provided during the interview process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute the annual marketing plan aligned with revenue and growth goals; own the budget, agency relationships, and brand standards.
  • Partner with sales on segmentation, account-based marketing, lead management, sales enablement, and pipeline conversion.
  • Lead multi-channel demand generation across web, search, email, social, paid media, webinars, and events.
  • Own positioning and messaging, translating complex technical products and services into clear customer value.
  • Manage the digital marketing campaign structure, marketing automation and attribution.
  • Set KPIs for pipeline, conversion, and marketing ROI and deliver dashboards and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Lead trade shows and customer events, and build co-marketing relationships with manufacturers and industry partners.
  • Implement software tools and efficient marketing processes with appropriate quality controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7-10+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including owning strategy, budgets, and agency relationships.
  • Proven success marketing complex manufacturing products through consultative sales cycles, with measurable pipeline results.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and B2B marketing automation.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, SEO, paid search, and web/CMS management.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365; Power BI a plus.
  • Industrial, manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
