Lynn Care Center is seeking an experienced Director Of Nursing (Don) to lead our nursing department and ensure high-quality, compassionate resident care. The Don will oversee clinical operations, nursing staff, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily nursing operations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
- Ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor staffing, clinical documentation, care plans, and resident outcomes.
- Participate in surveys, audits, and Qapi initiatives.
- Partner with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Support recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- Current Virginia Rn license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Five years of long-term care or acute healthcare experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Long-term care leadership experience preferred.
