We are hiring a seasoned Director of Surgical Services to oversee the clinical, operational, and financial performance of a large perioperative services department. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced acute care nursing leader with a strong background in surgical services and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Surgical Services.
• Oversee the Operating Room (OR), CVOR, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing (SPD), Anesthesia Technicians, and OR Environmental Services.
• Lead 3 department managers and approximately 167 FTEs.
• Manage a high-volume surgical program with 23 operating rooms performing 18,000+ procedures annually.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with physicians and executive leadership to improve surgical services and patient outcomes.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Director of Surgical Services experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in acute care Surgical Services.
• Strong leadership, financial management, and perioperative operations experience.
