15+ years of relevant regulatory, compliance, or pipeline safety experience

3+ years leading managers or multi-functional teams at a senior management level

Strong knowledge of PHMSA, FERC, pipeline operations, and regulatory compliance

Experience with OMS, PSMS, OSHA PSM, auditing, and incident investigation programs

Oil & gas industry experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field

Certifications (CEP, REM, etc.)

Job Description

A midstream client is seeking an experienced Director, Regulatory to lead pipeline safety, regulatory compliance, and Operations Management System (OMS) governance across the organization. This senior leadership role will oversee a multi-functional team, drive compliance excellence, influence regulatory strategy, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational reliability and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead pipeline safety, regulatory compliance, and OMS programs across the organization

Develop and mentor managers while building a high-performing team culture

Drive regulatory strategy and ensure compliance with PHMSA, FERC, and state regulations

Partner with Operations, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams to align regulatory priorities with business objectives

Oversee OMS governance, auditing, performance metrics, and continuous improvement efforts

Support acquisitions and divestitures through regulatory due diligence and risk assessments

Represent the company with regulatory agencies and industry organizations
