The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks an accomplished academic pediatric neurologist to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Neurology. This is a rare opportunity to build rather than maintain. The next Chief will lead a strategic reinvestment in pediatric neuroscience, supported by approved growth to 13 pediatric neurologist faculty positions, six advanced practice provider positions, statewide outreach initiatives, tele-neurology expansion, and a long-term vision for a multidisciplinary Pediatric Neuroscience Institute. The successful candidate will partner closely with system, hospital, and departmental leadership to recruit exceptional faculty, advance research and education, expand access to care, and position MUSC as a premier destination for pediatric neuroscience throughout South Carolina and the Southeast.
