We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver candidate who will partner with our team. The role is located at our Alvarado/Ft Worth, TX location.
The Ideal Candidate
You understand the heavy equipment business and have a drive for being an active part of solutions. You set the bar high and set an example for other leaders and colleagues on how to work collaboratively with the highest level of integrity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Drives truck or equipment to assigned location.
- Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
- Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
- Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine maintenance on truck or equipment.
- Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements, and practice them.
- When assigned, will open a work order so time may be charged out to assigning department.
- Reports accidents to manager and HR immediately, obtaining names, license numbers, and other details.
- Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery of vehicle or equipment.
- Must work with and for all departments in harmony.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Class A or B CDL preferred but not required.
Minimum Education Required:
High School/GED.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years driving/delivery experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: High skill level driving heavy trucks. Highly detail oriented and organized in work. Acceptable written and oral communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a customer service focus with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results. Must have initiative and the ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives. Must possess a strong desire to learn.
