Propulsion Controls Engineering has a current opening for a Driver; supporting our San Diego, CA location.


Position Summary


A Driver Is responsible for delivery and pickup of supplies, equipment to/from job site, shop or vendors facility. Assist in vehicle maintenance and repairs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Conducts vehicle inspection for safety discrepancies or damage, complete timely report of new discrepancies.

  • Responsible for delivery and pickup of supplies, equipment to/from job site, shop or vendors facility

  • Ensure safety and security of transported loads, equipment, supplies.

  • Performs simple maintenance, such as filling fuel tank, cleaning interior and exterior.

  • Obeys all traffic laws and safety regulations.

  • Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with corporate policies, goals and objectives, accept constructive feedback, establish goals and objectives, and exhibit initiative and commitment.

  • Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.


Position Requirements


Education and Experience:



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent education and experience.

  • Valid state drivers license (with clean driving record) and knowledge of local driving area.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • General knowledge of hand and power tools, fasteners and fittings.

  • Possess mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to communicate with others.
