EEG Technician

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides competent technical skills in the operation of equipment used to record electroencephalograms. Provides quality electroencephalographic examinations and ensures proper care and operation of equipment used.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Experience performing EEGs preferred

- Experience in a healthcare field preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Must have a current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor credential.
