The Cisco Product Internship Program offers a 12-week summer experience designed to welcome early-career talent into this mission. We embed interns within high-impact teams, where they collaborate directly on the products, platforms, and architectures shaping Cisco's future and powering the AI era. Throughout the program, interns have the opportunity to participate in targeted learning sessions, multi-functional networking, and direct engagement with leaders across the organization. By immersing interns in real-world challenges, we help them build the technical skills, confidence, and collaborative approach needed to envision a long-term, impactful career at Cisco.

Your Impact

You'll define product strategy, requirements, and roadmaps for our next generation of AI-powered features. You'll partner with engineering and design teams to translate customer insights into clear, actionable requirements that drive real-world decisions. By translating customer insights into strategic, data-backed roadmaps, you guide our development teams in building the next generation of products that drive growth.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's).
• Qualifying education should be in Business, Marketing, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Expected to continue enrollment in degree program following completion of the internship.
• Working knowledge of at least two of: networking concepts, analytical concepts, or product management concepts.
• Coursework or project experience in market research, competitive analysis, or strategic planning.
• Experience building a product roadmap (coursework, internship, or personal project).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI and machine learning models.
• Prior internship experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner capacity.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
