This is a fast-paced and fun job in a growing company where each day will never be like the last. We participate in a wide variety of local activities, such as school events, sports, games, tournaments, festivals, concerts, corporate events, neighborhood get-togethers, weddings, birthdays, and other unique events.

Event Specialist must be at least 16 years or older and needs to have flexible schedules with a focused priority on meeting the needs of our customers. Duties include taking customer orders, operating equipment to prepare shaved ice and coffee drinks, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.

We offer flexible schedules and hours that could range from 10-25 hours per week. Starting pay of $15.50/hr + tips for Event Specialist.

Event Specialist Responsibilities:

• Represent the Kona Ice brand by delivering a memorable experience and outstanding customer service
• Provide superior service to clients and customers with speed and accuracy
• Assists Event Specialist/Driver in completing event procedures, warehouse expectations and needed areas to run a successful event
• Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment, work well with other team members, and provide ongoing feedback to improve the work environment
• Comply with the hygiene, health, and sanitation guidelines
• Responsible for operating, maintaining and keeping clean all equipment on the trucks; maintain warehouse expectations and cleanliness of work environment, including basic cleaning of trucks/warehouse
• Complete beginning- and end-of-shift prepping and stocking, cash counts, event closing procedures
• Must be able to read, count money, and accurately complete documentation
• Communicate maintenance and inventory needs to appropriate staff
• Other duties as assigned
