Executive Director Of Mental Health

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director Of Mental Health to oversee the operations and clinical services of an outpatient behavioral health practice offering IOP and PHP programs.

Location: Falls Church, VA

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise clinical and administrative staff.
• Oversee daily operations and service delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and support operational goals.
• Ensure quality care across IOP and PHP programs.
• Review group therapy assignments and caseloads.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives.
• Support referral relationships and community outreach.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes.
• Promote a positive, client-centered care environment.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Active clinical license required (LICSW, LPC, LMFT, or similar).
• 5+ years of leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Mental health treatment experience strongly preferred.
• Corporate-managed healthcare experience preferred.
