This position is accountable for leading a mid sized IT Organization in the midst of maintaining operations and transforming to modern technologies. This role has various responsibilities in planning, overseeing operations, managing organizational priorities and resolving problems. The position is expected to be a minimum 6-month contract-to-hire type of assignment.

Ideal candidates are technically experienced, with demonstrated business and project management successes in mid-sized to large public sector environments. Responsibilities include leading roadmap planning and execution in addition to managing flawless operations. The ability to use ITIL based frameworks, certifications and/or trainings to manage operations are highly desirable. Ideal candidates will have strong tactical problem solving skills backed by broad depth of experience and have the ability to organize teams to act on solutions.

Candidates must have a technical eye for innovation and demonstrate the ability to translate innovation into business value. Exceptional communications skills and experience in handling a broad manner of stakeholder groups is required. Public sector & citizen engagement experience is highly preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to translate highly technical problems and issues into actionable information for executives is required.
