This facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, coverage needed September 1, 2026 – April 1, 2027
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Patients per Day: Approximately 10 admissions/consults
Types of Cases: Geriatric Palliative Care, chronic disease management, dementia, arthritis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, medication management, care transitions, preventive care, and cognitive assessments
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
Certifications Required: American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification or American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification; Basic Life Support and Drug Enforcement Administration registration highly preferred
Licensure Required: Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner license or active Nurse Licensure Compact eligibility with proof of compact status
