StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a physician-owned and physician-led Emergency Medicine organization to recruit experienced Family Medicine physicians with Emergency Department experience for two established community EDs in South Texas. Choose between Del Rio or a location southeast of San Antonio, with both opportunities offering a 1099 independent contractor structure, flexible block scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and clinical autonomy.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine with Emergency Department experience

  • Two established Level IV Trauma Center Emergency Departments

  • Del Rio: Approximately 25,500 annual ED visits with a 12-bed ED plus 4-bed Express Care

  • Southeast of San Antonio: Approximately 14,500 annual ED visits with a 10-bed ED and lower-volume practice environment

  • Strong specialty backup and established transfer resources

  • APP support available in Del Rio

  • Meditech EMR

  • Well suited for physicians comfortable practicing independently in a community ED setting
