About PREDICTION

PREDICTION is building the AI operating layer for national security.

Our platform helps government and national security organizations deploy AI agents inside secure environments to support intelligence, investigations, operational decision-making, and other mission-critical workflows.

We are working with leading U.S. government and national security organizations and are looking for an experienced Federal Technology Pricing & Deal Strategy Lead to help develop the commercial and pricing architecture for our government deployments.

The Role

We are looking for someone who deeply understands how sophisticated software, AI, data, and technology platforms are priced and sold to U.S. government customers.

This is not a traditional cost-accounting or proposal-pricing position.

We need someone who can help determine questions such as:

  • How should an AI platform be priced for an initial government pilot?
  • How should pricing change from pilot to agency deployment to enterprise-wide deployment?
  • What should be included in platform licensing versus implementation, integration, support, compute, and professional services?
  • How should pricing differ between FFP, T&M, IDIQ/task-order, OTA, commercial-item, and other procurement structures?
  • How should multi-year agreements and option years be structured?
  • How should we think about price-to-win without undervaluing the technology?
  • How should a government customer justify and procure a multimillion-dollar AI platform deployment?

You will work directly with PREDICTION's CEO and leadership team to build a repeatable federal pricing and deal strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop PREDICTION's federal pricing and packaging strategy.
  • Create pricing frameworks for pilots, initial deployments, enterprise deployments, and agency-wide expansion.
  • Structure software/platform licenses, implementation fees, integrations, compute, support, and professional services.
  • Build pricing models for AI and data-intensive government deployments.
  • Advise on value-based pricing and price-to-win strategy.
  • Develop government-specific discounting and multi-year pricing structures.
  • Help determine appropriate pricing under different federal procurement and contract structures.
  • Review major federal opportunities and recommend deal structure and commercial strategy.
  • Help establish pricing guardrails and approval processes as PREDICTION scales.
  • Support leadership during negotiations involving strategic government customers and partners.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has meaningful experience pricing and structuring technology products for U.S. federal government customers.

We are particularly interested in people with experience at or working with organizations such as:

Palantir, Scale AI, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI, SAIC, Microsoft Federal, AWS Public Sector, Google Public Sector, Anduril, Govini, Rebellion Defense, ConductorAI, or similar government technology companies.

You may have held positions in:

  • Strategic Pricing
  • Federal Pricing
  • Commercial Pricing
  • Deal Strategy
  • Deal Desk
  • Product Pricing
  • Price-to-Win
  • Federal Capture / Pricing Strategy
  • Business Strategy or Commercial Operations

Preferred Experience
  • 10+ years of relevant technology, government contracting, pricing, or deal strategy experience.
  • Direct experience pricing software, SaaS, AI, data platforms, cloud technology, or technology-enabled solutions for federal agencies.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement and contracting.
  • Experience with complex multimillion-dollar government technology transactions.
  • Understanding of FAR/DFARS and commercial-item government contracting.
  • Experience translating product value and technical deployment requirements into defensible government pricing.
  • Ability to operate strategically rather than simply prepare cost volumes.
  • Strong commercial judgment and experience working directly with senior executives.

Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, DHS, DOJ, federal law enforcement, or other national security customers is particularly valuable.

Engagement

This role is designed as a part-time or consulting engagement rather than a traditional full-time position.

We are open to experienced independent consultants, former senior government-technology executives, or professionals who have transitioned out of larger federal technology companies.

The initial engagement will focus on building PREDICTION's overall federal technology pricing architecture and supporting several active government opportunities.
