Ragnar Benson Construction, a MasTec Company is seeking a motivated Field Engineer to support passenger and heavy rail construction, data centers, and commercial building projects across the United States. The Field Engineer provides hands-on involvement in project planning, coordination, scheduling, quality control, and field operations while working alongside experienced construction professionals. Travel & Project Assignment: You can live in any city or state in the continental United States. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the United States. Must be capable of working on-site for 2 weeks with a four-day home rotation. We offer designated per diem of $1,020 per week in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses during the travel rotation. You must have the ability to drive and have proper licensing. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided for the assigned work location.
Responsibilities: Preparing scheduling of subcontractors on site Receiving and checking quality of materials Completing QA/QC checklists Submittals (material approvals) RFI's (general questions) Preparing official documents for the project, routing and finalizing Preparing projects reports as needed Back up documentation Close-outs final quantities Proposing/ negotiation extra work Special projects within the Project Management function as necessary Other duties as assigned by the Project Management Department
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred (Civil Engineers, Construction Management, or related field preferred). A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. both now and in the future without company sponsorship.
